Message If the RPS makes it off the line, it won't be long before it's shot. No single disc is going to stand that kinda force and that's why they all make twin and triple plates. Think about the guy driving the car. Sitting at the light, Rpm's up near 5500 to 6000, NOS is on say 100 shot, boost around 24psi on slicks. You guys have manually cooled down the intercooler, got lane choice picket out, tires are well heated. Slipping the clutch is ideal but would really put a short life on the disc then, so dumping it softly is done in the hopes the disc doesn't burn up at full contact. I don't know it's a close call, but might as well try it first and then either replace second. I guess it's the longevity of the disc and not so much if it can hang, because that you will surly find out soon :)

The only question now is, who going to pilot that monster :)

Plus you got 700lbs of TQ ( what the RPS is rated for brand new ) on that 60 shot Dyno, now think about 100shot and 4 more pounds of boost ( 750rwtq or so ) and that's all on the clutch not from a roll on Dyno drums.

Where's the video of the car, say rolling slow on the streets :)

STAGE V++++
Going to XV+ and beyond :)

Yellow Z STAGE II
